It was unfair and unexpected. Still I am thinking why Bad luck, destiny or stupidity selected right me ? We had nice weekend. Both days we were flying speed - task C. We feel that it is our weak point in F3B, therefore we try hardworking. More than 30 flights everybody. We are three. Weather was wishful. I fill that my flying is not up to now so smooth as I would want, but still I flown my personal record 16,14s. It was sunday noon and we were flying already 4 hours only speed task. Our airfield is nice but it is not only ours. There is a lot of other RC modellers. Most of them don't respect our flying corridor. Sometimes we can see quite dangerous situations. Maybe you know it... One of newcomming modellers is laying out his bungee left along the ours winches. Maybe 5 m next to us. Wind was perhaps 45 degrees from left to our launch direction. Belive me or not, but it was last flight, last turn. I was accelerating to finish speed task on A base. Just by peripheral seeing I noticed a color object in my flying path. It was small parachute with filament falling across my flying path. Within a fraction of second is everythink finished. My Ellipse 2V is totally broken. After serious repair I can use only V-tail and right tip panel. I am very dissapointed and despairing. It was unfair and unexpected. Months and months of effort, time, money, energy, everything is gone... It was my only one F3B airplain. Season is here... I wish you more good luck than I had. P.S. That guy didnīt say even sorry. I am so deep pissed, hell !!!!!! |
