Muddy Kingdom. No other words are arising in my head after this year F3B Munich. As every year before when leaving Prague there was strong rain. Din't stop to Munich (more than 400km). Friday (1-st flying day) was horrible. Many groups were flying in strong rain and comp was on the edge of rules and acceptability. Saturday and Sunday saved the whole F3B event and allowed to fly 2 and 2/3 rounds. Final results you can see here. Also check (if interested in) full Eurotour F3B ranking for year 2002. We were flying duration without judges. Everybody was responsible for his time and landing points. This pratice is normal in F3J. OK, why not?! There were 9 F3B youngsters. It's vey promissing to see young guys on these big F3X comps.Will help to widen F3X community. Well done boys! Klaus Kowalski was flying with his a bit worn out Caracho 14.9s. Hmmm, amazing show ;-) I don't think so you could see in Munich some valued novelties in F3B technologies. There is just (?!) evolution mainly in pilot skills. Let' s wait for next year F3B WC in Germany. P.S. Not only in my personal opinion there were some semi-serious organizers glitches which such famous F3B comp should be short of... |
