Quite fast- F3B (26/06/03)

We are just back from F3B competion nearby Vienna in typical wine region. Weather was very hot and relative windy. Marchfeldpokal is always typical by friendly and mild atmosphere-I mean people. Its small airfield and just around 30 competitors is OK. Organization was smooth without any drop-outs and this allowed to fly full four rounds. Well done Manfred and Kosta!

I was flying my Caligulla-BigSting and at least in speed it performed quite well. I made some fatal mistakes in duration. Ok I'm permanently learning, that's sometimes painfull process :)

Gunther Aichholzer beated my one year old height record using brand new Alti2 BF logger with his F3B Champion. Gunther, you must have excellent eyes, my admiration-1100m altitude (3.609 feet)!! Alti software file allows you to analyse all details of this flight (Gunther.llo 7k) . He was moving up nearly 3m/s, hmmm nice. Seems to me that with same speed I was falling down during mentioned bloody duration, hell :)
