You could read whole Viking Race 2002 story already a few months ago. For maybe a bit more complex view you can see also altitude loggs from all of my flights with brief commentary. Altitude log from ski lift you can see here.

Sunday morning. We are on the North. It's cold, but we start with races. Round 0.
My first flight, Round 1. Pure edge flying, but even on the North there is chance to fall down the hill.

Round 3.

Round 4. One of my best ones. Same day, same slope, same airplain, same hands and different air:) Just note initial starting height.
Round 5. We are on the South and my first diving flight was a bit shy.

Round 6. Looks there was no intension to stay on the ridge. Still I'v made many mistakes and twice cutting base B. Mainly in deep down part it was very tricky and many pilots lost a lot there...
Round 7. Not so deep like in round before, but still need more time for getting back.

Round 8. More than 4 minutes for getting back. In this flight I made again same mistakes in same part (base B). Definitely loosing chance for better ranking.
Last trial, Round 9. It was my fastest one, but no help while Martin Herrig was flying nearly 4 seconds faster:)) As you can see I was back very fast but suddenly before landing I had to search better air.

...and this is the South slope of Donovaly.
