HIB.EXE is basic program which allows you to preview and process data. This program is for all Hibox users free and you don't need any activation, you can start to work immediately. All icons in software have short help comments.

Download ZIP archive and expand it anywhere in your PC. No installation is needed. Run programm by double-click.

After expanding HIByou can download data from your Hibox memory. In File, Options check if proper COM number (RS232 or virtual USB/RS232 port) is selected. Software and Hibox communicates in binary mode, therefore no need to take care about COM setup parameters (speed etc.).

Connect Hib and press read data icon from toolbar (2). Your downloaded data files are displayed in files area (1). If you will check more than one square box on the right side of file, graphs (3) will be overlayed. In Block Data (4) you see all important values about selected files. When you move your cursor, corresponding Cursor Data (5) are presented.

Every downloaded log (1) must be saved as single file-no blocks (more logs in one file) are allowed. Select any log and select Save icon.

As full featured alternative to HIB.EXE you can use PowerCube.exe program. It's also free for Hibox users but you have to send me registration string to obtain activation code. Registration string you will generate after PowerCube installation from Register menu.

How to start with PowerCube sw:

• Download PowerCube.exe (see bellow)
• Download parser for Hibox-hib.rxp (see bellow). Parser is piece of code (TXT format) which instructs PowerCube.exe how to interpret data from Hibox. You can write your own parser to process virtually any kind of data send in TXT form via RS232. PowerCube is excellent analysis tool for charger data processing, for example. This feature you get with Hibox as bonus!
• Install program
• Copy above mentioned parser hib.rxp to parsers directory which is in program root (usually C:\Program Files\PowerCube\parsers)
• Run program. Set in Data, Settings parameters of COM port to 57600, 8, NONE,1, NONE
• Select Register in main menu and send me registration code to info@lomcovak.cz (without registration is time axis limited to 5 minutes)
• I will send you activation key by return, enter it to Register box
• Now you can start working with Hibox and PowerCube.exe, please before software use read details here
